96 Tracker Acceleration hesitation

Hi all, 96 Tracker 3 spd AT. If I'm in "park" and push the gas pedal down fast, there's a big bog-down hesitation before the engine revs up. Also havn't got very much power at low speeds, but good acceleration once higher speeds are reached. any experience with this? Ed

sea foam is a type of engine cleaner it is really fun to do because you cause a huge smoke screen.
