thinking about a 5th or 6th gen civic
hey everybody, I've been thinking about getting a newer civic (like a 5th or 6th gen, mine's a dead 90 EX) I cannot afford a brand new civic and I need one that's going to be reliable because parts are extremely expensive around here, what do you guys suggest? Also I got burned really bad on my EX (I've bought it for $2000 and it died four weeks later), what's some of the things I should look for at a car lot?

I have seen a lot of really nice civic si's and crx's/del sol's with engine swaps for very cheap on ebay. You might want to see if there are any listings on near your area and you might just come out with a nice car for cheap. But as always, ebay has its risks.

I've checked on ebay several times but I live in a rural area and nobody has posted one within a reasonable area, I have to drive nearly 20 miles before I find a car lot with one on it. Plus after sinking that much into the 90 EX I have to find a way to get financed.
