Decided to go Single turbo

Hey guys I'm looking to make my car do a 0.5 of a sec down the 1/4 mile, so I've decided to go single turbo.............

I'm going to use the SuperduperGx36

I might need to do some mods to support this turbo, I'm hoping she'll stop spoiling at 200000rpm although I'm thinking more like 250000rpm.

What mods do you guys think I need to suport this turbo, has anyone used this turbo on the 6g72engine before?????????

Thanks........

Just a close up

Re: Decided to go Single turbo

You could bolt that turbo up to a Supra with the stock block and run 0.5's all day no problem...I don't know about the 6g72 though, I hear they can't hang.

You're gonna need an aftermarket y-pipe...that will blow the stock one right off,

Re: Decided to go Single turbo

that thing is freaking rediculous! i would love to hear it spool up though. Probably sounds like the afterburners on a jet...or the space shuttle lol.

i wonder what kind of boost that thing runs. I would think probably not that much...just a MASSIVE flow rate

I would assume its on a giant diesel engine, so anywhere from 20-100psi would be my guess.
