01 Impala Interior/Dash Lights Problem

My interior lights (only radio, odometer, and the MPG info) don't come on most of the time, causing my service vehicle soon light to come on. I can see them when I first start up my car but they quickly fade away. I can also see them a little at night, but not during the day. The lights on the speedometer, fuel, temp gauge work fine. I have hooked it up to the computer and there are no codes coming up, none of my automotive friends seem to know what to do. I have already spent a good chunk of change on fixing the intake gasket, catalytic converter, O2 sensors, window switches, crank shaft, and barrings. Can anyone help with what could be wrong.

Well if anyone else is having this problem I finally found someone that could somewhat tell me what was wrong with it, so if anyone else is having this problem try replacing your headlamp switch. They also stated my BCM needed to be replaced, but I don't know if that was really necessary.
