intimidation: vr4 vs prelude and 2nd gen eclipse gs-t

this sucks i've been looking for a race for so long and nobody ever wants to race
a C-5 corvette pulled a ricer fly by and i still could have beat it if we werent running out of road

well anyway i get on the freeway from getting some gas and on comes at the same time an eclipse gs-t white, exhaust rims
usually i dont race these cars, but you really never know what an eclipse has under the hood. so he follows me at high speeds, like 90mph dodging traffic
finally an open area and he gets on it, i dont downshift to third, i just stay in 4th, figure if he's faster than i think then i'll run him again
but to no suprise we started from like 75mph and by the time i got to 115 it was done pretty quickly
i let off and he stays behind me on purpose, like way behind me
suddenly a prelude comes up on the side of me, purple with exhaust, hes jerking his car wanting to go, i think he seen me race the eclipse.
i speed up from 70 to 80 really quick and let of the bov
the prelude then backs down and does not want to race anymore

guys i cant get a race for nothing anymore. i use to race like 3 times a week, now nothing wants to race me
so i just took the only oppurtunity i had and raced the eclipse......this sucks

Re: intimidation: vr4 vs prelude and 2nd gen eclipse gs-t

funny thing is, this city is big on street racing
not as huge as cali, but close

lots of cars you may have seen in super street or scc
owners are from here.

i really think i'm just in the wrong place at the wrong time some how

funny thing is i have not, for the same reason i dont race from a dig, i cant afford to hurt my tranny anymore

its not that there's nothing fast enough for me(obviosly there's always something faster) its just nobody wants to race

Re: intimidation: vr4 vs prelude and 2nd gen eclipse gs-t

I've lived down here in AZ for almost 4 months now. The races I've caught are as follows: riced out 3G eclipse and riced out to the max Honda Civic, one right after the other, smoked both. A 5.slow Mustang, smoked. A 350Z, which I hate to admit, but he killed me, I was only running 15lbs of boost at the time, and the car wasn't really healthy at that point. A countour SVT :eyeroll, smoked his ass while staying in 5th gear going up a hill. Come down to AZ, I'll race you.

Re: intimidation: vr4 vs prelude and 2nd gen eclipse gs-t

i havent gotten any races since I got the RX, I tried baiting a 3kgt N/A but he was like "no". I asked him why and he say to me "You'll kick my ass" so I was like damn it.....If I was in the jetta I wouldve had a race that day.
