Paint question

Hi, I was spray painting part of my civic (one of the parts just above the bumpers) and now that its finished I've noticed its much brighter than the rest of the car, I remember doing it before and the colour turned the same as the rest of the car overtime or close to the same colour, Im just wondering if anyone knows of a way to make the colour fade a bit to match the rest of the car without having to wait also, should I apply a clearcoat to the paint im spraying on even though its not metallic or anything?

Thanks

Re: Paint question

You only apply clearcoat to acheive depth in the paint... what exactly is the reason you're spraypainting your car?

Semi-gloss and high gloss paints already have clear in the paint, it's enough to make the paint shine after it's dry... as far as making it fade, you could try parking with that area in the sun? I've never intentionally faded paint... so yeah.. either that, or finish spraying the car.. primer it even, it'll prolly look better than your faded paint does.

Re: Paint question

Spray those parts again because they were starting to rust, though the colour difference doesnt look that bad when I put them back on the car
