1995 Nissan Pickup daytime running light problem

My neighbour has the mentioned vehicle. He says he is by no means a backyard mechanic and does not own a chiltons or Haynes manual for this thing.
Anyways. Im here to help him out.
One of his daytime running lights (Passenger side) does not work. He has changed the bulb he has said and it didnt work. He then called the dealership and they said it was the control unit for the daytime running lights and it would only cost about 200+ to fix.
He asked them where it was located and they convieniantly forgot where it is.
Do any of you fellows know where this thing is so I can help him on his way.

Re: 1995 Nissan Pickup daytime running light problem

On my 95 Pathfinder the module is located inside the fender next to the battery. Should be the same for the pickup. If you take out the battery its obvious.

I've got a brand new DRL module for sale if you are interested. I'll sell for half of what the dealer charged me. About $70, plus whatever it costs to ship it. I can send you the part number so you can confirm its the right one.
Let me know at ndome at hotmail
