Unhappy Front end problems

I am having problems with the front end on my Monte Carlo SS 2001, I have had it into the garage three or four times. It is alright when I am driving straight, But when I make a turn it shakes real bad! What is wrong!

Does any noise accompany the shake/shudder?

Re: Front end problems

I do like the checking the lugnuts idea. Something simple people would over look. But if it has been in the shop several times I am sure they have taken the tire off and checked it. If not then they didnt do their job. I am new to the Monte Carlo world but have you greased up the front end joints. I had to do it on my truck every 10,000 miles.

When you say it has been in the garage, do you mean a cheap little shop with monkeys for attendants or an actual well recommended shop that does good work? Your front end might be out of alignment but I do not know what these shops did, if anything. Can you list what they did do or did they just say it had no problems?
