Audioslave Revelations

New album from Audioslave out on the next week on the 5th. I've seen them on their Exile tour, they can really rock the crowd. imo, their self-titled album was better than Out of Exile, but i'm really excited for Revelations. Anyone else ready for it?

Keep an ear out for their new single, "Original Fire"

Re: Audioslave Revelations

I always found Audioslave's music to be kind of boring. Defiinitely not bad, but not really my thing.

I'd rather see Rage Against the Machine get back together and have Chris Cornell start something more along the lines of Soundgarden again.

Re: Audioslave Revelations

I've said this before...IMO Audioslave are a waste of Morello et al's talents...Cornell needs to learn to write songs that at least make some friggin sense, and let the others cut loose.

Bring back Zach!

Re: Audioslave Revelations

Honestly, i think Audioslave is a better product than Soundgarden ever was, but that's just imo.
Zack De La Rocha is doing his own thing, and i doubt a convergance ever occuring. Audioslave obviously isn't RatM, which is the reason for the name change, otherwise Morello and the others were originally going to keep the band name with a new lead like B-Real or Chuck D. I've grown to appreciate Audioslave a lot, besides, They always play RatM songs live.
Also, if you think Morello's talents are being "wasted", think again. He's got his own side projects going on, such as Axis of Justice, and his "alter ego" The Nightwatchman. He's getting plenty of spotlight from his own achievments, Audioslave is not something "holding him back".

I completely Agree with you, except I was never cared for Rage, but Soundgarden kicks ass! Waaayyyyyy better than Audioslave.

Re: Audioslave Revelations

I enjoy Audioslave in their own sense, but I would give a fucking kidney if they'd get back together as Rage.
