Some water on the floor in the back!

Yesterday when i was picking up something of the floor in the back, left floor carpet was wet , i guess that happened after i washed my car. Today it was raining a bit so i went to check it again and now left and right side floor carpets are wet.

Re: Some water on the floor in the back!

your rear door inner vapor seals are no longer sealed properly to the door
not a big deal take off your door panels and removed the grey foam like cover that is underneath this cover needs to be completly seald around the door or water will run out of the door under your door panel and onto your floor comon problem on e39 5-series. youlll need to likly find some sealer is the black sticky stuff that is supposto be holding the seal in place and add more and repress it inplace.

Unhappy Re: Some water on the floor in the back!

Hello,
I have a 2003 525i Wagon and now have water on the back floor also. The car has not been in the rain for months and is kept in a garage. I was told it had something to do with an "evaporator" that is located in the centre console possibly having a drain plugged. I think the evaporator is part of the air conditioning system. Any ideas ?
