93 caliper removal

Firstly i have replaced a lot of pads, but this is the first time on an 93 or any
aerostar for that matter.
My question is are those roll pins holding the calipers on?
If so can they be squeezed together and knocked out?if so can they be reused?and lastly are they a real SOB to get back in.
I'm covering my base's before starting.
Any help would be great!!!!

Re: 93 caliper removal

Yup! Those 2 pins will squeeze together with pliers and punch through. Put them in the same way. It's easier than it looks. Only replace them if they split.

Re: 93 caliper removal

or you can take a small round tipped chisel and hit them with a hammer
