98 escort 2.0l changed pcv valve and still problems

the pcv line had a big break in the line so i had to buy a new one. but not it is still making a bad sputring when in idle. and at a stop it stalls sometimes.

i checked the air filter and a couple of other things still lost

please help me with advise

Make sure that the hose on top leading to the PCV valve is OK. Specifically at the elbow turn. I have had this part melt and collapse a few times.
