coolant in oil
I have a 96 grand am 3.1 v6
Cant get the power steering off Help Thank You snerle

I got your PM, though you didnt say what engine you had.
What is it soecificly thats keeping you from removing it? It should come off, you might hav to remove the engine mount, the upper intake, and alternator, to get to the bolts on th epower steering pump. ITs best to leave the power steering lines hooked up so air doesnt get in the lines.

the one book say it has 2 bolts the other say it has 3
i can find the 2 but do i need to take one of the puleys of i cant get at the last 2 bolts on the intake ty snerle |

My Bad!
The power steering pump has to come off to get the intake bolts out. ![]() The pully has three holes in it, turn the pully till you find all the bolts. Heres a pick of the pully/holes PS Pully
