saw a stock 06 Z06 dynoed today...i think 505hp is a bit under rated

went to the corvette show in carlisle, pa 2day and when i got there, there was a red 06 Z06 on the portable dyno trailer . they did 2 pulls with it. 1st pull was 468hp and the second pull was 471hp, so 505hp at the flywheel is a bit under rated.

well, lets look at this for a second. advertised 505Bhp. Usually with a decent drivetrain, you lose 15-20% HP. With this excpetioonally crafted car, you lose only about 7.7% HP on the first pull alone....even less on second pull. Personally, i would have to agree that they are monsters.

It would no surprise me that 505 is under-rated.
(I am not comparing with the Corvette)But people would dyno the Dodge Neon SRT4 and would get clearly higher HP ratings than what was posted on there website.
