eBay Motors: Dodge : Stealth (item 270019309493 end time Aug-21-06 16:59:11 PD i bought this car and it looks like an R/T but the vin says its an Stealth ES.......wtf it has climate control, steering wheel radio buttons, and the exact body of an R/T what is goin on

from the pictures i can tell that it has digital climte control (which you stated), ECS, and ABS. i don't think those features came on the base model(s) ES. those options came on the RT/SL and TT/VR4 trims.

but i could be wrong. i know in a few years, the Stealth was made in 4 or 5 trims, which included base, ES, RT, RT luxury, TT. so it would be logical to think that some of the more luxury options were available on a car with only cloth interior.

Sorry I don't know too much about the Stealths but gathering what I could find on google I'm guessing the R/T is the turbo model, now looking at that shocking peace in the link, that car obviously has no turbo's and is an NA hance why it is anything but an R/T. I'm just thinking that they changed all of the NA gear over to the R/T body and then transfered all of the RT gear over to the NA body which I'm guessing was in Better condition.......... Just a Thought......

I can not imagine anyone doing a ES to a R/t n/a (specs) conversion. Putting in leather seats, climate control, body work, ecs, etc.

There are non turbo RT's. The ES is essentially a DOHC in a base SOHC body. Something definitely isnt right. I wouldnt pay a dime till everything is inspected and its found to be legit

I know of a guy who transfered all of his Mitsubishi GTO TT Engine and trans into a 97face lift NA body and put all of the 97 NA Engine etc into the old 1992 TT body............... Why is this not possible....................

You forget that North America didnt have any AWD NA's.

see i am about 3 thousand miles away from the car and its already getting the 60 k tune up. It is very sketchy though the mechanic says its a good car and only needs a few things, so i am just very confused like i said could something bad happen here.
