Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (997) - Norev

For the price I think this one would be better to get. When I compare it to my Aa GT3 RS like the blue/white one above, its all the same just no carpet. Same door hinges, same weight, same detail, same interior materials, everything just with Norev on the bottom. If you want to save $30+ and don't mind having no carpet, then this is the one.

Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (997) - Norev

Good advice JDMwong but I'm sure that the autoarts will have better quality!?

Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (997) - Norev

By alittle bit yes, But for me it's not enough to justify an extra $40+. Autoart is getting out of control with their prices now a days with each new model being in upwards of $80. If your a hardcore collector and only collect the best then go for Kyosho/Aa. If your like me, an average hobbyist, go for the Norev.

Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (997) - Norev

Ahh I see, Lucky! Well the only reason I would say then is if you can get the Norev at discount price. My bro works with a dealership so I got it for $30 instead of the $40 list price. So at Maisto-ish price its good lol.

yeah the autoart price increase is annoying, the good news though is kyosho is on par with autoart in their quality while at the same time being quite a bit cheaper! The Kyosho version should be priced around $55~65 if they do make one. I also consider myself an average colletor, but to me Kyosho is the one to get if you like 997 Turbo at all...
