Kris and the Arcus part ways....for now...

So for those of you who don't know, yes my name is Kris, and Yes the jetta was named Arcus, Long story short, Arcus was the villian in a series I wrote for me and my friends a long time ago based on Dragonball Z (if you dont know what dragonball Z is and havent at least heard of it you should die)

Anyways, Last night (after a freaking week!) I finally got the RX-8 (pics will be provided either later tonight or tomorrow) Now the RX-8 (which is named Gohan) is my new partner or teacher since I know i am going to learn alot in this car (Gohan was my characters mentor in my story) It is a beautiful color that just pictures wont do justice cause it changes colors in different lighting. Think about the mystic cobra and how that changes colors, my car goes from green to teal to a blueish-green to blue and finally to dark blue (or navy blue) The car came with 4 extra spark plugs (don't know if that was a mistake on the dealers part cause these were imported from japan and they were sitting in my car) and it even has a DVD on how to take care of it, since people complain about them being unreliable, well du'h if you treat it like a piston car it will be unreliable. I actually have to break in the motor opposite of mushashi process, meaning, I need to redline the car once a day, never turn on the car, move it like 5 feet and then shut it off cause then it will flood the engine.

I ordered it with the sports package which I can turn off the Dynamic stability control and the traction control, it has HID xenon headlight (where if I have it on it's like driving during the day), and foglight. it also had the appearance package which has the front air dam which also allow for better airflow to the intake, it has side skits towards the rear tires, and it has side air dams to allow the air to pass through the car easier while going high speeds. I didnt want a spoiler cause why put it when I'm going to replace it with a Mazdaspeed spoiler later (fully adjustable and lightweight). And that was basically it, i did of course get it in manual.

I gave the jetta to my fiance and when she gets a car (mazdaspeed 3 looks like the most likely car as of right now) I will get it back and pick up where I left off on project V-dub.

Gohan ugghhh, well then my car must be the old Vegeta that pounds you into submission J/K

Congrats on the new car purchase. Atleast for what you like to do it will corner well. I've heard/read that the RX-8 has an incredible suspension.

Re: Kris and the Arcus part ways....for now...

Congrats on your new car. I love RX8s. When I was buying my S2000 it came down to the RX8 and the S2000. I picked the S2000 because I didn't need the extra space and like the convertible.

Sometimes when I go auto-x-ing, the is a silver RX8. That car sounds amazing, like nothing I've ever heard before. I asked the guy, and all he said he had was an intake. I'll find out what kind of intake it was, you should get the same. Here's his car:

Nice.

You're definitely going to learn from that car. Being as peaky as it is, it will not reward you for bad shift points, etc. Have fun with it, and pics or ban.

I am Goku, so you HAVE to listen to me.

Re: Kris and the Arcus part ways....for now...

WTF is Dragon Ball Z????

Yeah so little mister color sceam finally got the damn car! about time too cause his gloomy ass was driving me crazy. Every time we went somewhere he was like "my car is so plain" " I dont belong here with your nice cars, I drive a Jetta" "nobody looks at my car" " no body takes pictures of my car" AHHHH he was so emo!

now hes all happy and energized and bouncing off walls.
You guys will get pics soon, I'm waiting for him to come by my job so we can take some shots.

The color is fantastic and well Ive really fallen in love with those cars ever since I test drove one.

In my stories Goku was killed off permanently, so no I dont have to
But reason why the car is gohan cause When the 2 characters fuse in my stories they make Gotian.

Also for 2006 the car got an upgraded suspension system so it handles better than previous models and as a response to mazda customers complaining that the car wasnt dynoing in with the proper numbers, they did some reseach and now some '06 models are dynoing with 190-200 rwhp as opposed to the 179-185 claims that were made before. (just have to see which one I have) So everyone, thanks.

Also one more thing, I took the jetta out today after I had driven the whole day with the RX-8 and it felt wierd to drive the jetta, but what was more interesting was that the jetta feels, acts, and most likely faster than the RX-8. But as I was driving it I came to the conclusion that it might be faster 0-60 and might be slightly faster at a 1/4 but coming to a 0-100+ the rx-8 will beat it cause I feel the resistance on the jetta where I dont feel any at all on the RX-8

Hah. If there's one thing any DB/DBZ/DBGT fan should know, there's no killing Goku. He's died so many times, and even lured to hell alive, and he still managed to get back.
