Those are RWD right?

One of my relatives bought one that was in a rollover accident for $40 and we beat that thing to hell out on the trails in the woods. Its pretty fun using a winch and a large tree to put a strut back in place And to make it stop: slam it into reverse That was some fun times... :o

Nope, FWD. I was really impressed with the thing though, 200k and still redlining

Whats funny is how you have all these kids reading how civics stomp on mustangs and how slow and junky mustangs are. Then these kids hop in their civics and flock all over me as I drive down the road, reving and squealing (attempting to) thinking they can take down any mustang they see. Its getting old. Stock mustangs are fast, stock civics are slow. The only way a civic is going to beat a stock mustang is with alot of money and work. Granted their are civics out there that could walk my car, but 99% of the 16 year olds out there that are trying to race me dont have it. Okay, I feel better.

Then the kids in your area are just plain stupid. I wouldnt rev on a cobra period, and wouldnt rev on a GT unless I thought the driver is shitty. I will however rev on any mustang or camaro I determine to be a V6 cause those suck. The people who drive the 6's are no better than people with civic dx's driving around thinking they are all badass, (although even a DX could probably walk on a 6 cyl mustang)

err yea. I have no disrespect for domestics. I just said that cuz that would be so cool if it happens like that, and it DOES once in a while. I never said my stock civic will smoke the shit out of your v8. If i could choose between a stock civic vs. a stock 68 fastback, i would choose the stang. and stupid people in imports don't only rev on domestics. They rev at COMPLETELY stock civics like mine. so yea, my bad if you thought i was dissing your mustang, but i wasn't......

Heh, my car is a beater, and it was cheap

$950, and about 1k in repairs to keep it from burning to the ground, and I can smoke the cut springs/fart can ricers all night long (almost anyone can tho... so thats not saying much) And with the faded paint, and super dusty exterior, its a pretty good sleeper

The best part is how it shows its real character after you leave the pavement

whats wrong with V6 Mustangs and Camaros?

It goes along the same line as people who buy Civics for economy reasons.

Its a sporty looking economy car that has [i]some]/i] pickup and go to them. Albiet not tons like the V8 counterparts... but they get the job done.

200 horsepower aint bad, V6 Camaros run low 15's with a good driver.

Dont forget they can be supercharged, and they get good gas milege

19 City/ 30 Highway! But the V8's arent much different with 19 city/25 highway.

a Stock Si can run a 15.9 at best, with work 15.5 with a good driver.

So I think the V6 Camaro's can hold their own, only thing that can give them trouble stock from the imports is a Vtec Prelude, GSX's, All trac Celica's.

I dont know, I presonally like to let the Numbers do the talking.

The 99-newer mustang v6 runs mid to high 15s as well.

Heh, A while back, a guy came through the drive thru at work in a nice looking new camaro... it didn't look like an SS or have the Z28 badge on the side, so i asked "V6"

He goes "No, its the V8, but its small one so I get good mileage"

Then he drives off and I look at the rear... One tailpipe... it was a V6

Guess now they not only buy the cheap V6 versions, they fool themselves into thinking its a V8
