Re: S-AFC II Installed
Nice nice. Tune that bitch and let me know if it makes a difference so I know whether or not to buy one.

Re: S-AFC II Installed
man I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I just don't understand how that's going to make a difference. The car has no extra fuel to compensate.

Re: S-AFC II Installed
Yeah he is right. My car had safc since I bought it but everything was set to factory. Apparently you can tune it because, there is a minor issue with a/f ratio from the factory(rumor?). But, yeah the afc doesn't really make a huge difference untill you get the bigger injectors going on.

Re: S-AFC II Installed
factory ecu's run about 14% too rich (on the turbos_) I don't know if its the same for the NT's. But if it is I would take away 14% airflow across the board to optimize a/f ratio. But find out for sure about NT ecus first

Re: S-AFC II Installed
You can tune it without injectors. The stock fuel system can handle more fuel flow. IDK about stock being too rich to begin with. Doesn't make sense. Totally different engine, fuel setup, compression, and ECU. You want the turbo setup to be rich from the factory because then you won't have the possiblity of knock from running too lean at boost.
I've got mine setup so that at idle, the map is turned down, so idle is lower and even fuel consumption is better. Then it climbs up at high throttle and you feel it kick in. Logged and check double time, O2 readings are good at .93 or so, which is near perfect considering I don't have a WBO2. I guess each car is different and the mods on each will change everything else too.
