1991 Caravan quit while running.

i'm sister inlaw using my brother inlaw screen name. I need help.
While driving back home from work, I was going 35 mph. The car starts shaking, when i push on my accerlations...it doesn't accerlerate instead it has a studdered and it seems like it's backfiring there is like pressure when i'm accerelating liek it takes while for it too go, but when it does it get's more shaking...than the car quits, i put the car back into the park and push on the brake while trying to start the car,it has this clicking noise when i try turning on the key, and it seems liek the car is trying to back fire again, which more shaking. It wasn't even 2min the car came back, but when the car started back ..it was still shaking and studdereding. When the car shuts off, the only thing that came on was the oil light. I check the oil and it is fine. When it is back running from when it shut off, it doesn't run good. The only time that this happens is when i'm driving, but when i first start the car nothing happens it's only when driving. This been going on for like 4 days.
Does anyone know what is wrong?

Your describing the symptoms, but what else have you checked?
I suspect the fuel pump in gas tank.
Without more specific info, what do you expect?
