Complete: OCC Style Chopper

This was an incredibly fun build. Using the aces high kit, I added a little detail as you can see. I Stretched fork and I used Fishing leader line for the brake and clutch lines and #4 line and fittings for oil lines. Paint is Cobra colors velocity yellow with pearl ghost flames that are hard to photograph under artificial light. Hope you all try these kits... they are great!!!

Re: Complete: Occ Style Chopper

Nice someone got one done, top notch work. I was just wondering if there was any fitment problems you've encountered?

Looks great. You can see the flames if you really look hard. I'll have to try one of these. How did you streach the forks?

Re: Complete: Occ Style Chopper

throw a little UV light (a black light) on it and I bet those flames pop right out.

Nice bike. Would love to see the flame job!

Nice work! Bright yellow really stands out on that. The hoses and cables make a big difference.

Re: Complete: Occ Style Chopper

Looks really good! I'm impressed in how good it looks with just a little detail. After seeing a couple here, including yours, I went and picked one up, too, and was amazed at the quality of the kit. If I didn't know better, I'd figure it to be a 40 year old tool! Your ability to cure it is awesome. Great work!

Hi,

fantastic and clean built, very nice.

Re: Complete: OCC Style Chopper

Very nice build although many of the chrome parts have a plastic appearance. I like your tweaks from the original kit!

Re: Complete: OCC Style Chopper

Thanks guys..... Glad you all like it! Yes Joel, the chrome parts do have a plastic thick chrome look to them... I have seen alot of mixed reviews on these Revell 1:12 chopper kits all over the net... for 10.00 bucks you cant beat them... especially when they are the only thing around!!

Oh and Mr Downie... steal away my friend!!
