chunks in differential :(
Hi all,
Started to hear a slight noise in rear differential. I decided to drain oil and replace with synthectic. when cover removed oil has lots of tiny filings and there are a few chuncks 1/4" or so in the bottom of the housing. 1. Is differential falure common? 2. Truck has 73K on it; i have a 85K extended warrenty, will this be warrenty work? 2003 Dakota quad Cab 4.7L, 4WD, 73K miles. Thanks all
