Question Modelling suppliers in the UK

I'm planning a full custom RX-7 model, about to order the kits from HLJ as I can't find a good source of Jap kit's in the UK (except Tamiya stuff). Does any one know of good companies inthe UK who can supply kits and bits?

I'm also after House of Kolor paints, as I wan't to do a Kamelion job on the model. I've seen American suppliers offering the paints under the 'Black Gold' label, but they won't ship to the UK. Doe's anyone know how I can get hold of these paints in the UK?

What is it your after exactly? If your hoping to get hold of all the lovely Fujimi and Aoshima parts then you have no chance - UK distributers aren't interested

I'm starting my own parts business yet nothing planned for the RX-7 at the moment. There will be some universal items i.e. photoetched GT wings and graphics that might interest you - due mid september.

The paints u mention are something i'm planning to have too, hopefully by November yet its still being arranged.

I'm getting back into the hobby after a few years out doing other things. I'm after resin and photo-etch parts mainly. I used to use stuff from people like Detail Master, who did excellent turned ally NOS bottles, etched brake disks etc. I used a couple of companies - Scale Auto Parts and Marshal Auto Supplies who bought the bits in from the States and sold them over here. The problem is most of the US companies don't seem to like sending stuff over-seas and I don't have any contacts in the US who can send them on. Paints seem to be the real no-no, I guess becaue of the chemical content. I've found the House of Kolor suppliers in the UK, but they only seem to sell the paint in 'real car' size tins, which is a bit OTT!

I'd definitelly be interested when you are up and running... will there be a website?
