convertible kit

I was lookin on ebay, and I came across an early cavalier convertible kit. I've got a 1991 cavalier coupe. Can the roof of the car be removed and are these kits just a scam? I will check back later. Thanks

Re: convertible kit

So it was a kit to convert a normal hard top cavy to a convertible?? I'm sure it is possible but with a shit load of work and fabrication. I really dont think that the roof on a hard top cavy can be removed. Do you have the link for the kit??

I don't know if it was a hard top to convertible conversion. Here is the link. It looks like a replacement now that I've read it over. Would I be able to use the parts form this to make it a convertible.

Re: convertible kit

That looks like a kit to replace your already convertible with a new one. I'm sure you can use parts from it to make a convertible. There more to a convertible than what is shown on that link. Are you wanting to convert a hard top to a rag top or something??

88-94's look like the one in my sig, an 89. from 90-94 they had this gay solid grill though, 88-89 had a better one. also 90+ offer ABS.
