wouldnt think so on the gas mileage might be a decrease due to heavy foot syndrome A performance gain will be placed, I think i've heard on some kits that its about an inch less in length on the belt...

Not sure about a full 15HP gain, that'd be really nice... I would guess maybe 4-6HP MOST but not 15

Re: under drive pulleys

yea Gir is right dont expect 15hp more like 5-6hp and if you do purchase them make sure you get your belt atleast 1 inch smaller than the stock one 1.5 will work well too

Re: under drive pulleys

I hav the crank pull thats aluminum on my SE.
Its the same size as stock, some places do sell them a little smaller, but thats mostly for the 2.3-2.4s.

The only thing I noticed was the rmp's jump up faster.
And with a standard serpt belt it slips, very bad!
With the Goodyear GatorBack its not sliping or squeeking , thats annoying

The only reason I swaped the pully was my stock was bent() and GM wanted like $250-300 for one. The aluminum one was under $150.

Those aluminum one's sure do look flashy though
