under drive pulleys
i was thinking about putting lightened underdrive crank and alternator pulleys on my car. their suppose to raise gas mileage and give an extra 15 hp. i was wondering if anybody knew whether not they auctually will tho,cuz wat they say isnt always true...

yea Gir is right dont expect 15hp more like 5-6hp and if you do purchase them make sure you get your belt atleast 1 inch smaller than the stock one 1.5 will work well too

I hav the crank pull thats aluminum on my SE.
Its the same size as stock, some places do sell them a little smaller, but thats mostly for the 2.3-2.4s. The only thing I noticed was the rmp's jump up faster. And with a standard serpt belt it slips, very bad! With the Goodyear GatorBack its not sliping or squeeking , thats annoying ![]() The only reason I swaped the pully was my stock was bent( ) and GM wanted like $250-300 for one. The aluminum one was under $150.Those aluminum one's sure do look flashy though
