A couple of more kills

RSX Type S vs. EVO IX

Well these two cars are no where near each other stock for stock, but RSX owners swear they hang with bolt ons. Well pulled up next to a RSX Type S at a light. Light turned green and I took off quickly (no launching) and waited for the RSX to catch up. He got to my side, and took off, and I did the same. I instantly start to pull and put three or four cars on him in 3rd gear and let off. Slowed down and we went again, and same result. Not sure on his mods, just saw a aftermarket exhaust.

350Z vs. EVO IX

Driving home on the Freeway, when I see a 350Z in my rear view. He follows behind me for a couple of minutes, then pulls to my side and paces me. I couldn't do anything though with a car in fron of me. So he drives off, and I decide to follow him. Finally we find a spot where we can do some races. So I pull to his side, and we pace eachother for a couple of seconds, and I decide to take off. The 350Z does the same, but I pull about four or five cars on him. So I slow down for him, and pace him again going about 80mph, this time I wanted him to start the race. So he does, and then I follow suit, and from 80mph to about 120-130mph I put another 4 or 5 cars on him. So just to make sure, I slow down again. I waited for him in the slow lane, where there were less cars. He pulls to my side, and we both take off equally, and I pull three cars in 4th, and another car or two in 5th. So once again I won by four or five cars. Have no idea on mods for the 350Z, looked stock though.

My mods at the time of these races were- Works Drop In Air Filter, Koyo Radiator, and Joe P. Manual Boost Controller (Boost set at 21.5PSI).

Re: A couple of more kills

Some more nice kills. I have no idea why the type-s owner would think he could hang but whatever. Good stuff.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: A couple of more kills

I think the owners of the RSX meant bolt ons as in the new Turbo diesel jeep wrangler.
