Re: Fender rolling

Killer, he might have to roll the fender with that wide of a wheel that has that offset. The size of the tire has little effect on whether the fender needs to be rolled or not, especially if he's getting a wide, deep-dish wheel.

Re: Fender rolling

I'm doing fine with 17x7.5s with 225/45/17s, but the offset is 43mm... I heard something about getting spacers to fit that sort of offset when using RX-7 wheels. Shouldnt a +35 offset be fine with his AWD?

Re: Fender rolling

I think the rim should be fine, it just depends on how wide of a tire he decides on. I think a 225 *should* clear but anything more would probably rub.

Re: Fender rolling

i have 235/45R17s and +38mm offset with eibach 1.2" drop (1.5" lower then stock) and my backs rub, i didnt want start another thread, and sorry for bringing this back, but i have access to a fender roller, but no heat gun... can i use a pretty Heavy duty hair dryer if its almost 100* outside temp here already? i know the paint needs to be about 125*-140* to keep from cracking... what do you guys think about this?

Re: Fender rolling

I don't know but I need to roll/trim mine, or do something before I bring the camber out of the rear. The look/handling is nice, but the tire wear is killin me.
