looking for a S13 or 14

I'm totaly new to Nissans, I'm an Eclipse guy. Whats the difference between the 240's, the S13 and S14, and the Silvias? I really want a RWD car, and I'm looking to tear the twisties up.

Re: looking for a S13 or 14

please search the internet. That info is so easily attainable. Silvias are sold over seas. I could go on telling you, but i dont feel like writing a small book. Thats such a huge question to answer when its been answered 1,000,000,000 times over the internet already.

Re: looking for a S13 or 14

So the only difference between the S13 and S14 is the body chasis/style?

and there are different s14 silvia engines. keep reading about it and you'd be surprised how things fit together.

Re: looking for a S13 or 14

But if I'm just going to do and engine swap and upgraded suspension, it's still all down to which one lookes better to me, right?

I read that the S13's are lighter and the dashboard looks are a love/hate situation, and they have a softer suspension. I'm leaning more towards the S14. Whatever I get I just don't want the flip up headlights. I wanted the KA24DE to start out with then swap to the SR20DET.

Does anyone have pics of the different headlights for the S14?

Re: looking for a S13 or 14

for the s14 headlights, theres the long oval type ones (1995 - 1996) and theres the mean eye ones/shark eyes/whatever (1997 - 1998) which everyone now seems to like, but thats just following the bandwagon. Personaly I like he oval type ones better (1995 - 1996)

pics?
google up the years

Right when I think I understood all of this you throw Kouki and Zenkis at me. I need an explanation now.

There is nothing wrong with the flip-ups, it's just I see alot of Miatas, Firebirds, Corvettes with broken headlights (they just don't come up anymore, or one is up and the other is down).
