1999 Jeep GCL P1494 Issue

I have a 1999 Jeep Grande Cherokee Laredo (2x4). My 'check engine' light came on and I took it to Autozone. They gave me this code - P1494. What shall I do? Help...

Also,

Code P1494. This code says it's a SPCUT solenoid Circuit Malfunction. On this website it says it's a "Leak detection pump switch or mechanical fault."

The leak detection pump is mounted in the engine compartment on the driver's side inner fender. It will be under the purge solenoid and it has a 3 wire connector that goes to it. The orange wire should be hot when the ignition is on. If it isn't, you probably have a blown fuse. If it is, the green/red wire should get a ground from the PCM that can be measured with a DVOM on the duty cycle setting. The violet/white wire is the sensor feedback to the PCM to tell it what it is doing. Any number of things can cause this code. It needs a vacuum source to it, and it works in conjunction with the EVAP purge solenoid. Anything from electrical to a vacuum leak or a even a bad canister or purge solenoid can cause it.

Google is your friend.
