1986 mr2

my buddy is selling his 1986 MR2 and he says it has twin turbo stock. Do the mr2's come with twin turbos or no?

Do they even come with a turbo stock?

Re: 1986 mr2

1985-1989 MR2s were naturally aspirated (no turbos).
In 88 & 89 there was a supercharged engine as an option.

1991-1998 they were offered as NAs or turbos.
The turbo models were twin-entry turbos, not twin turbos.

There is no such thing as a factory turbo 1986 MR2 and there was never a factory twin-turbo engine of any year.
