high rpm

my moms car is acting funny its a 95 3.4 when ever u drive it now the rmp go really high and dont go down like the should it it does it no matter how ur driving some one said it was the sprak plugs i chaned `them and nothing also its not responding like it normal like it u floor it it take a few sec for the to get up and go thanks for the help

rpm goes high..and doesnt come back down? tried it in 'neutral'? if it still does that sounds like your throttle cables sticky..

127K? That's opportune scinerio when the engine timing starts to retire. May have jumped.

The set it'self cost anywhere from 30-100 bucks depending on who you buy it from.

I'm not saying 100% that' is your problem, but given your description of the issue, that is my guess at this time
