1998 Dakota SLT
Hi
I`m looking at a `98 Dakota Slt ext cab 138,000 kilometers on it ,auto .V-6 Magnum engine. Is there anything in particular to look for in these vehicles for problems ? I know that it has had at least 2 owners ,but you cannot condemm the vehicle for that given its age. I read where they are prone to bad cat converters and upper ball joints. Does anyone know about this and if it is expensive. I have a `96 money pit Intrepid ,beautiful car to drive but have rebuilt the front end and it only has 127,000 kms on it . I dislike it very much and swore that Iwould not buy another Dodge but ............. any comments appreciated good or bad . How`s the Fuel mileage ?Oh ya I would prefer a Chevy but these are cheaper in price but hopefully not Quailty Thanks Muff
