Car problem not sure if its fuse?

My car stereo stop working together with the factory alarm. Is there someone that could give me advise on how to fix the problem. Im not sure if its a fuse? I'm a women and I don't now much about cars? But one thing I due know. This car has given me alot of trouble from the catalytic converter $1500, $450 oil leak, $432 starter. I need to start working on my own car now? This car sucks....

normally their is a fuse box either under the dash panel, under the hood, or both. look through the various fuses and find the accessories fuse, chances are is that its blown, this fuse controls the radio, alarm, lights, ect. alot of times the accessories fuse will include the ignition but not all the time (not all makes and models). if this does not resolve the problem let me know.
