4000 RPM bog
2004 Dodge Stratus SXT 2.4 L 4 Cyl.
Noticed a bog during heavy acceleration so I tried revving the engine in neutral. As soon as the RPM hits 4000 RPM the engine sounds like its bogging and engine shakes violently. Won't exceed 4000 RPM. Any Ideas? |

Sure quit racing the engine up in neutral. It is hitting the anti rev at 4K rpm just like the old Governors. Racing the engine in neutral only make noise. To check the HP you have to put it in drive and go. You might start with a tune up and fuel filter and fuel pressure check on road. MT
