Cabin Filter Y/N ? on 99 K1500 and other Q's.
I really love my new/old truck, fords are in the past !!
Have a couple of questions I hope you can help with. I'm just wondering if the 99 K1500 had a cabin filter, and if so how to locate/replace ? Also have a door panel lamp out on the pass side door. How does the cover plate come off, don't want to break anything. Radio backlit panel (other than volume, tuning knobs and station/clock indicator) is out. Don't want to screw anything up with the theftlock radio unit...... and advice/instruction would be greatly appreciated. * Also found a little rust behind the lower doors weatherstripping. Removed rust and treated with zinc compound. You may want to check your units as well to get ready for winter. 99 K1500, 5.7L, auto w/push button 4WD, Z71, full option LS Package. Thanks |

I think 99's had the cabin air filters. See the other thread about the part number and how-to. Mike
