01' Pontiac Firebird

So I got myself a sports car that I would like to get some little things on. Its a 2001 Pontiac Firebird V6 3.8L.

I was thinking of getting a muffler but does getting a muffler only provide better sound? Or does it also provide a little HP?

I want to get something that provides more power (HP?) and also has the LOUD deep rumble sound. What could I get?

I was also thinking of getting a cold air intake, is this worth it?

What are some mods I could do to this car. I am looking mainly for cheap stuff, I dont want something big or become a street racer or anything. I just want to be able to take off fast and have a car that responds fast when I want to have fun or the random little races.

As you can see, I am new. Help appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 01' Pontiac Firebird

Not gonna sound like a deep V8 sound.

But a Magnaflow muffler will gain a touch of power and sound good!
