front strut question
Now i'm use to working on old domestic cars and having to use a spring compressor, now if i remove the 2 bolts on my 94 maxima holding the front strut to the knuckle, will it come off and stay there in one piece like i think it does or does the spring need to be compressed, cuz i'm putting new boots on the front axles.

Re: front strut question
I can't say for sure for the 94's but I believe they are fundamentally the same as a 95 and I have changed both front cv's without any need to compress the springs. Save that for strut replacement....right now your off the hook and should have it easy.
