strange electrical problem........
So today I start my 1997 to drive home from work. Truck starts and runs fine.
However, none of the following work: wiper (front or rear) windows air conditioner/heat radio overhead display overhead lights ABS light stayed on The only electrical things that worked were the daytime running lamps, headlights, door locks, and gauges. So I got it home, put it in the garage, and started it up again. Everything worked. What could be causing this? Im thinking ignition switch, just because I know it can interfere with a lot of things. My father in law mentioned a fusable link wire. |

Re: strange electrical problem........
Ignition switch for sure.
Also check for blown fuses.

Fuses are all fine. I checked all of them before I started it again.......none of them were blown. |
