2004 LS, RF window won't roll back up?

Today the weather was pretty nice, so I rolled down my windows. Get home and now the right front window won't roll back up. You can hear the motor run when you hit the button, but it just makes sort of a creaking noise. Any ideas?

PS: Had a '02 Taurus SEL before this that was totalled. Bought it new and it gave 138,000 miles without a single problem. Bought this Lincoln LS used with 31,000 on it in May. Has 38,000 now and already the window won't roll up. Hope I didn't make a mistake getting this car...

Window regulator broke. Very common problem on the LS. When they replace it make sure they use the revised metal one, otherwise it'll happen again in the future.
