New to this Forum, need some help.

Hello everybody,

As the title states I am new to this forum. I've been looking for a website that has people or are geared towards people that are interested in early and late model Lincolns. I've been to quite a few sites that sell aftermarket parts for Lincolns but came up pretty bare. I own an 89' Lincoln TownCar (Signature Series) Grey with grey top and black interior. In the near future I would like to turn my now everyday driving vehicle into a project car that I can turn into a luxury/muscle car. The problem I need help with is finding a place or people that specialise in early and late model Lincoln TownCars. Everybody I talk to says, You can't find aftermarket parts for that car because it's not a car that people want to modify. Well, Ummmm ISN'T that the point? I don't want a vehicle that 10 million people have because it's easy and cheap to modify. I want to eventually modify the entire car. I would like to incorporate the old 60s Lincoln design like the Suicide doors and such while including some design of the newer models for creature comforts. So, what I'm asking is, does anybody know of a place that will help me with my new future project? I would like to do most of the restomoding myself but I'll be honest, there's things I can not do. But I believe that if you do not work on the vehicle with your own two hands it truely does not belong to you. Anyways, if there's anybody that can help me with my problem it would be much appreciated and Thanks in advance for taking your time out to read my post.

Most Lincoln owners on these boards are around to help preserve our Lincolns in their original condition, not create monsters.

I'm not saying it can't be done, and I won't preach to you re: your taste in automotive design, I'm just saying you wont get much help from Lincoln owners.
