I'll leave your post here as it may get more play, but you should strongly consider posting the same question here:

As the regional forums are taking off pretty well.

Re: emissions in oregon?

Look up the actual emissions laws for the state of Oregon. I thought the entire state of Washington required them but I found that only specific zip codes did (though there was enough of them to cover just about everyplace I'd ever want to live anyway). Perhaps where you are going doesn't require them. And, passing an emissions test is usually not that hard. My 240 of 220,000 miles and god knows how many ailments passed. My Z passed with no pre-cats, big cams, no EGR, aftermarket ECU, intake and a bunch of other crap...come to think of it I think the emissions equipment still on it is the main cats, but I'll fix that problem soon.

Anyway, just make sure your car is running correctly and you have a good set of catalytic convertors on it and I doubt you'll have a problem.

thanks for the info, but i think that's the main problem, my turbo dont like back-pressure, so i have aftermarket catalyc converters, and no egr, FMIC and all that other stuff.
