I recenctly came across a 1994 MKVI Twin Turbo with T-Tops for a rediculosly low price. I replied to the ad anyways just to see if the seller was true or not. It was on a google sale site called Kijiji. This is the email i recieved from the seller.

The car is in perfect condition,with no scarches on it,no dammage.The price for the car with shipping included, is 4900$.
All the manuals and the original documents are in English.It is
made for US market and has US specs on it .
The buyer will receive this along with all papers and recipts that he needs

The most important thing in all my activity here is that I am affiliated at Square Trade,I have a purchase protection account for 10000$ and I assume you know what this means.

Now is this waaaayy to good to be true isn't it? Still waiting on a reply from them after i sent them the info. I live in the same town as the person as well. I requested to see the car in person and pay him in person. What do you guys think? Is this guy just takin me for a ride?

Sounds like another Square Trade scam. Never buy a car that you cannot go out to see and drive before buying.

There are tons of scam artists out there that offer $$$ cars for rediculously low prices. Just as TcmaBoy said...if they won't let you see it in person or just keep giving you the run around when inquiring about meetnig them and seeing the car....BEWARE!
