Stereo buttons on steeringwheel not working!!
I bought a used 98' JGC ld. i didnt notice that the buttons on the steeringwheel that controled the stereo does not work untill now. i asked the person that i bought it from about it. he said he had to bypass the buttons in order to make the stereo work. he didnt know what caused this. i checked the fuses and its not that.
Is there a way to get the steeringwheel buttons working again? please help!! thanks in advance

Is the radio a factory radio, or is it an aftermarket Radio?
Furthermore, if it's aftermarket, what kind of aftermarket radio, like who made it?

There are only a handfull of aftermarket stereos that will work with stock steering wheel controls. If there is an aftermarket stereo the odds are your buttons wont work unless you get a stereo that supports the buttons. Good luck with that.
