Hi, i recently bought a golf and i'm doing it up completely, but have no idea what model of Golf MK2 it is,i.e.is it a GL (i know its not a Gti).It has no history from the previous owner, has a 1300cc carb engine, small bumpers and single headlights? what engine is it - i hear / read guys talking about digifants and where can i get info to know what i have? is it a good car in the long term, is it worth changing the engine? how much conversion can i make to golfs biggest engine to make it into a monster?
