Sony xplod wiring with an adapter

Hi. I'm Mavrick and im new here in automotiveforum. I was just wondering if any of you kindly help me wire my new cd player to my adapter.
I also know that you just need to match the same color of the wires in order to work.

And another question. "If" the wires are connected properly, after that, do i have to connect the adapter to my car's wire or there are wiring needs to be fix too?

My car is a 2000 honda civic lx
You can see my cd player by looking at my avatar. thank's in advance.

Your post is a little vague but you probably need a wiring harness. Try this link:

Re: Sony xplod wiring with an adapter

I have an Xplode in my Honda too. My wiring harness has adapters at both ends, no loose wires. It looks like this:

You can call Circuit City, they should be able to tell you which harness you need. If you don't want to buy a new harness here's a diagram of a Honda wiring adapter (you'll need Adobe Acrobat to view it):

Re: Sony xplod wiring with an adapter

ok if you got an adaptor it says in it this.

12v+ constant
Ground
acc
etc..etc..etc,

now own your headunit end it should say the same thing but it will have extra wires for things like subs and stuff like that.

and by the way it says that right on the wires themselves

Re: Sony xplod wiring with an adapter

Figuring and matching those wires really isn't walk in a park. I had a hard time matching the wires on my adapter and my in dash wires. The given color on my in dash wire are not same as for my adapter. It really sux! But today i finally got my cd player 2 work. Tehee.
