Pulling the engine...2002 Explorer SportTrac

2002 Explorer SportTrac 4.0 V-6
Standard transmission
2-Wheel Drive

My nephew is pulling the engine on this vehicle. Wants to know if it is easier to pull the engine with tranny still attached or separated from the engine.

Not for sure on the 4 L std.Transmission.
But usually better just to remove the engine.
But on some here is how they have to do it.
