1991 Park Avenue Keyless entry programming question
I have an interesting situation. I read in my owners manual how to program the remotes for my 91 Park Avenue. It tells me to jump Terminals A (ground) and D (programming). Yet when i went to do so, there is nothing in Terminal D. The car did have keyless entry, but I lost the original remote, and I am trying to use an identical remote from a 94 lesabre. Thanks in advance for any help

That is strange that your owners manual says to jump pins “A&D”.
I have always jumped A&G on the 91-93 models. Try the procedure below.Jumper pin A to pin G with a fused jumper (3A) Doors will lock and unlock Press the UNLOCK button on the remote Doors should lock and unlock again if you have more remotes press their unlock button (up to 4) remove jumper wire ________|________ [F] [E] [D] [C] [b] [A] [G] [H] [J] [K] [L] [M]

Re: 1991 Park Avenue Keyless entry programming question
Ive been wanting to gat a remote for my 91 but I didnt think I could do it because the remote for the 91 was an early one not very compatible with newer ones. whats the model number on yours, and what model numbers are compatible?

Re: 1991 Park Avenue Keyless entry programming question
If you can find one for a 91-95 model with the following ID, it should work.
Model / FCC ID ABD03021 DOC: 218 K800
