Post Trouble Codez

Hello

I have three problems with my venture

its a venture 98 with 134k miles on it..

i get this code errors when i run the diagnostic

p0102- MAF - where is this part located?

p1676- What error is this? Where is this part located?

p1870- What error is this Where is this part located?

P1870 - Transmission Component Slip.

P1676 - Driver 4 Line 6 not sure what that means...

MAF MAss Air Flow Sensor is located between the air filter housing and intake boot. Can check connector for power , using voltmeter connected positve to pink terminal and negative to black/white terminal, should read 12+ volts with key on. If good you need to check the output with a scan tool.

so this doesnt mean that the transmission is the problem?.. i was going to replace the whole transmission.. or is it?

Check the condition of the trans fluid. If it's brown and smells burnt, your trans is probably shot. Were you doing anything recently with the van that you shouldn't have been doing (like towing or pushing another vehicle) that could have overloaded the trans causing it to slip?
