Many problems with my computer system and car in general

Occasionally this happens:

1. Dcl warning beeps and all of right screen ------ doesnt read

2. Oil pressure warning beeps

3. Check engine warning

4. Speedometer goes out

5. Battery being drained

Also I am having problems with my brakes I am told that the back brakes wont bleed there is air in them.

While riding my ride control (airbags?) messes up.

I have a 94 cont ex power everything

Please help!

I live in Maryland does anyone know a good mechanic that works on fords?

Those electrical problems sound like a defective alternator.

The brakes may just need the Caliper Pistons adjusted. Another guy here had the same problem, mechanics insisted there was an Air 'in the lines" problem. It turned out to be Caliper Pistons weren't setup properly.

I have had the front caliper replaced but not the back are you saying that maybe I need both back calipers adjusted? I was told that it had to be hooked up to a computer that only the ford dealership has and that this computer will make the computer think the car is in driving mode so that the air can be removed from the back brakes. Something about the valve only opens when the car is moving and that is the only way to remove the air from the rear brake lines.

These are famous for bad connections on the back of the instrument cluster causing all sorts of alarms, beeps, and weird readings.
Maybe have your mechanic pull the instrument cluster (not hard) and clean all those plug-in connections, especially the flat copper ribbon connector and plug on the back.
This fixed my '94 with a false oil pressure warning.

Of course, if you really do have low oil pressure you can't run the engine without destroying it, but I took the risk on mine that it was indeed a false alarm because it was so random and had nothing to do with temperature or RPM.
