Newbie to Site and need HELP !!!

Hello to all !!!!

I was wondering if I could get some help with my truck? Its an 88 S10 2.8 litre with 155000 KM's on it.
I am having a problem when I first start it and for the first 5 mins I drive it. First off, when I start it it will not idle. However, by about the third time I turn the key it will stay running but idles a bit rough. then when I put it in gear and hit the gas to take off, the engine is very estitant to get going and it moves a bit then jerks then it goes. this continues for the firt 5 minutes I drive it ( i have a bout 4 stop signs before i get to the highway) once I am on the highway driving at approx 90 to 100 kilometres and I come to a complete stop and then to a start again it runs fine. I should add it runs excellent while criusing the highway and the Check Engine Light does come on periodically. I have had a tune up and the MAP sensor replaced and nothing seemed to work. Not really sure what it could be, if someone has any input or thoughts I would appreciate it immensley !!!!! Thank you in advance.

Andrew
P.S Like I said beofre, it runs like a charm when the engine is warm
